The National Institute for Health and Care Research Applied Research Collaboration (NIHR ARC Wessex) is a Department of Health and Social Care funded programme of research that provides high quality, implementation-based research to support decision makers in health and healthcare.
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join a small enthusiastic and cohesive team working flexibly to support the management of health and social care research. Working together with the rest of team you will provide support to the varied work of the ARC.
We are looking for someone with experience of providing administrative support to senior staff including diaries, meeting organisation and travel arrangements ideally in an academic or research environment. Additionally, you will ideally have experience of organising and running a training and development programme, in an academic or research environment. An effective team player you will flexibly provide administrative support across the ARC both with senior colleagues and at specific project level. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining close attention to detail and a calm and cheerful manner. You will have proven organisational skills and an interest in supporting the development of health research and professionals in the UK.
