An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a key role, managing a UK wide national clinical trial in food allergy. The aim of the project is to test a novel treatment to treat food allergy using commonly available foods. The project is funded by Natasha Allergy Research Foundation and led by the University of Southampton. This post is suitable for an enthusiastic project manager with experience of managing clinical research studies in NHS, industry or academic settings. The project manager will be responsible for all operational matters relevant to the research process and data management function under the guidance of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
We are looking for someone who can coordinate procurement and allocation of resources, monitor progress against plans, maintain regulatory compliance, ensure safe data collection from all clinical sites and manage project database. You should have knowledge of research governance, and have excellent organisational, and verbal and written communication, skills. You should also have proven ability to manage budgets and tendering and procurement of clinical research related products and services.
This role is being offered on a part-time (0.7FTE), fixed term basis until 31st May 2026.
