The University of Adelaide’s School of Psychology is one of Australia’s most prestigious, educating the next generation of psychologists. Research in the School includes various methodologies, including experimental, quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods, in the areas of health, disability and lifespan development, cognition and brain, and social and organisational psychology.
The School in the process of revitalizing and renewing its curriculum and teaching methods, and aims to capture new and emerging discipline areas that will prepare and educate our future leaders, and deliver world-leading research that makes an impact.
The School now seeks to recruit two leaders who will contribute to the Faculty’s teaching and research profile, engage in clinical and other professional activities as well as contribute to the future curriculum. These are teaching and research focussed positions in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in your relevant area as well as contributing to other areas such as undergraduate programs within the School, such as the Bachelor of Psychological Science and Honours Psychology programs.
Professor/Associate Professor of Cognitive Psychology
This position will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the area of Cognition as well as contributing to other programs including the Bachelor of Psychological Science and Honours Psychology. There may be opportunities to contribute to the Master of Psychology (Organisational and Human Factors).
Professor/Associate Professor of Organisational Psychology
This position will require leadership in postgraduate programs including the Master of Psychology (Organisational and Human Factors). Applicants must be registered as a psychologist and Endorsed as an Organisational Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
