The Advanced Water Management Centre is seeking a postdoctoral researcher or a research fellow to investigate and determine the desctruction of perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) using electrochemical technology. The successful candidate will carry out bench and pilot-scale research for a large ($1.7m) ARC SRI project.
Applicants should possess a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemistry. You should also have a strong desire to develop a successful and highly-productive research career. You should have knowledge in wastewater, and in design including commission and running electrochemical pilot reactors. You should have the capacity to work with multidisciplinary research teams, good communication skills and the ability to meet objectives within set deadlines.

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at Academic level A or B. The remuneration package will be in the range $83,295.80 - $111,607.58 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $97,456.09 - $130,580.87 p.a.).
