As Manager, Research Collections and Systems, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the University's Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) submission as well as overseeing the management of systems used to support research administration.
As part of the Research Services branch you will collaborate with other key managers to deliver services to researchers across the University including publications data collection, support for applications for competitive research grants and fellowships, and a range of research compliance and regulatory activities.
To be successful you will need:
- Ability to interpret government policy, specifications and guidelines associated research funding and government reporting requirements
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and improving processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualise, analyse and solve complex problems
- Sound experience with databases, high level Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and the ability to manage data collections
- Demonstrated experience in information systems and analysis and the use of database query tools (desirable)
