We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist with a range of clinical expertise to join our motivated and innovative teaching team at the University of Southampton.
There is one full time permanent post avalable, with the successful applicant to be appointed as either a Lecturer or Senior Teaching Fellow.
You will have a range of Podiatry experience, be an experienced practice educator and be able to bring innovative teaching methods and contemporary practice-based experience to our well-established curriculum. You will be expected to take on an administrative role within the programme (e.g. placement co-ordinator/admissions tutor).
A main aspect of this job is to contribute to the design and delivery of the Podiatry programme including, session delivery, marking and examining.
Other tasks may include:
- clinical visiting and placement support
- student support and progression
- quality monitoring and enhancement activities across Faculty and University teams
You will be joining a vibrant academic community committed to extending understanding in research, education, and practice to create integrated educational programmes unique to the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences and make a positive difference to local and global health. You will receive support and line management from the Programme Manager.
- HCPC registration.
- Academic experience in higher education, (ideally with formal teaching qualification(s)) which should be Masters level or equivalent
- Recent clinical and or research experience
