The Department of Medicine offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for adults. There are independent sections of Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology and Pulmonary/Critical Care. The department has over 60 full-time Faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency programs are offered in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Adult Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine and Nephrology, as well as Fellowship programs in Clinical Neurophysiology & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Interventional Cardiology and Infectious diseases.
Responsibilities You will be expected to have undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical, research and specified administrative responsibilities.
You must have completed at least 4 years of structured post-graduate training in a reputable institution. S/he should either possess or be eligible for FCPS Part II (FCPS Cardiology will be preferred) .
