This autumn, the University will open a newly constructed Teaching and Learning Building. The Centenary building, which marks 100 years of the University on the Highfield Campus, is on eight floors and contains a café, a 250-seat lecture theatre, a 100-seat Harvard Suite, two 120-seat lecture rooms, a 60-seat computer suite, six seminar rooms totalling 110 seats, and individual study and break-out space for circa 200. A total capacity of circa 960.
Estates and Facilities are seeking two Building Supervisors to support the Building Manager in the delivery of teaching and learning and a high-quality student experience within the Centenary Building, through effective and efficient operational services (student and staff support, maintenance, cleaning, health and safety, security, room set-up and building inductions).
You will possess good communication and customer care skills and be able to work a two-shift work pattern of 8am to 4pm and 12:30pm to 8:30pm Monday to Friday.
